Regional Retail Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to manage and optimize operations in and around the Madrid region. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on growing the business, managing staff, and optimizing store operations.

- Improve business volume and ensure budget compliance in existing stores and new openings.
- Increase turnover by increasing the number of customers and sales per receipt.
- Maintain high standards in stores throughout opening hours to improve availability.
- Ensure optimal management in all stores and districts in the region.
- Ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for Store Manager, Store Support, and District Manager positions.
- Conduct talent spotting and performance management.
- Ensure the recruitment of more competent Store Managers, District Managers, Apprentices, and Store Assistants in collaboration with the HR Manager.
- Conduct annual Staff Development Plan (SDP) reviews and semi-annual reviews for all District Managers and Store Supporters in the region.
- Ensure proper training and development of District Managers and Store Supporters.
- Conduct sales and service training courses at the beginning of each season.
- Develop, implement, and follow the annual Business Plan.
- Establish and achieve BSC budgets and objectives and other country goals.
- Implement corrective actions to counteract deviations.
- Prepare and arrange stores optimally for each season and transitions between them.
- Implement and follow up Big Store Management days with District Managers.
- Ensure implementation and follow up of Retail Manager and District Manager Wheel.
- Initiate monthly operational meetings with each District Manager.
- Ensure compliance with salary and budget policy.
- Participate in team meetings and ensure implementation of concepts in all stores.
- Contribute to concept development and optimize the store network by opening new, relocating, and expanding existing locations.
Perfil buscado (H/M/D)
- Demonstrable store management experience, minimum 8-10 years of experience in the retail industry.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement business plans.
- Customer orientation and ability to manage staff performance.
- Master or similar business certificate.
- Availability to travel 3/4 of the time.
- Great communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently, with a track record in creating excellent results through your team.
