Payroll Specialist - German

From the Financial Division of WeHunt we are looking for a Payroll Specialist - German for an important multinational company in the chemical sector located in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).

The job holder is responsible for carrying out all processes relating to the preparation of monthly payroll accounting for his/her defined area of responsibility, the remuneration-relevant certification system and the administration of personnel master data.

• Implementation of professional and timely payroll accounting with all preparatory and follow-up work
• First point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll accounting, social insurance, company pension scheme, time management (Ludwigshafen)
• Payroll-relevant certificates, reporting and correspondence with offices, authorities, health insurance funds and insurance companies
• Support in the preparation of reports
• Project work
• Active participation in the preparation of the annual financial statements in the context of payroll accounting

• Bachelor's degree specializing in human resources or commercial training with further training as a payroll accountant
• Professional experience desirable
• Sound knowledge of payroll tax and social security law
• Sound knowledge of System LOGA (payroll) and Workforce (time recording)
• Confident handling of MS Office products
• Structured and independent way of working
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good knowledge of German and English
